After seeing the film CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival, Ouat's great representatives contacted me. And I couldn't be more thrilled! Broadcast with a Silver Lining

It's my pleasure to announce that Silver Lining has been selected as one of the short films to be broadcast as a part of the TVFilm series on WMHT PBS Television.  WMHT is located in NY's Capital Region and is the only full-service public broadcaster serving eastern New York and western New England.  TVFilm is a six-episode series spotlighting filmmakers from our region.  Silver Lining will be broadcast on the TVFilm premiere on Thursday, June 12th at 10pm and will repeat the following Saturday at midnight.

Boldly Filming...

Just returning from another wild Star Trek shoot filming the latest episode "Enemy Starfleet." An amazing crew and cast. Some amazing performances. I also had the privilege of shooting the last shots of "Blood and Fire" with Kim Stinger, Jay Storey and Bobby Rice appearing. What great actors! Also it was great to work with Dave Berry, Carlos Pedraza and Alex Ibrahim behind the camera once again. The dream team was assisted by the many fine folk who volunteer. Bravo to you all! -Ben

Many thanks go out to all the great folks who came out for "Indies at the Madison," a week-long showcase of independent short films from local Albany, NY filmmakers. Our show actually out performed all six Hollywood films at the Madison Theater over the weekend. Silver Lining was one of the films featured along with shorts by Jeff Burns, Kevin Dobies, Joy E. An update double shot here today, I just returned from principle photography for another Star Trek: Phase II and learned the next episode "World Enough and Time" will be released on August 23rd. Sign up at their website today to be one of the first to view the episode in high quality streaming. Also, check out the other Phase II episodes. They're REALLY good.

Now, just a note on the episode just in the can, "Blood and Fire" directed by David Gerrold. WOW, what a massive effort by all involved. It was a great shoot and all my thanks to everyone. Keep your eyes peeled here for more news and 2nd Unit footage directed by yours truly. -Ben
